What we keep, and what we never show.
The full policy is being finalised before launch. These are the commitments it will be built on, and they already hold.
Your email is never shown
Your sign-in address, and any school address you prove, are used to verify that you teach and to send you the mail you ask for. They are not on your profile, not searchable, and never handed to another member.
No student data
TeachersHall is for teachers. We do not collect, store or ask for information about students.
Nothing is sold
There is no advertising in the feed and nothing for sale to a teacher, so there is no reason for us to sell or share your data with advertisers, and we do not.
Anonymity is per post
When you post anonymously, other members see only that a verified teacher wrote it. The link between the post and your account exists in the database so we can act on abuse, and nowhere else.
You can leave with your data
Settings lets you export everything you have written and shared, and delete your account. Deleting removes your profile, posts, comments and messages.
