In this FACTivity, you will compare two different kinds of soil. Materials: Two shallow cardboard boxes (about 16″ long) Two different soil samples that fit inside the cardboard boxes, one from an open area and one from a forested area Two 16-ounce jars with lids Water (to fill each jar) Tape and marker to label the jars Soil observation chart ( included ) This is the Spanish-language version of the FACTivity.
